Bernat Voraviu is one of the most respected voices in contemporary Spanish wine. Having trained at Rovira i Virgili University, he has worked at renowned establishments such as Monvínic alongside Isabelle Brunet.
He is a partner in ITHACA Wines and Soulwines, a project dedicated to importing and distributing wines with a Mediterranean soul. He has also established Ex Occidente, a personal wine project that rescues old vines and forgotten varieties from Catalonia.
He is currently head sommelier at the one Michelin-starred Alkimia restaurant in Barcelona, where he has created one of the most distinctive and precise wine lists in the country.
His style combines technical rigour, Mediterranean sensibility, and an emotional perspective, transforming each tasting into a cultural experience that transcends wine itself.
